Xue Jingli, Chairman of Consinee Group, Visits Kazakhstan in Central Asia Alongside Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee
A single sail cannot navigate far, but a joint fleet can reach distant shores. The concerted "going global" initiative of enterprises from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong is an inevitable trend of the current era. On June 1, John Lee Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, led a business and trade delegation comprising members from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland to visit Kazakhstan for high-level economic and trade exchanges. Mr. Xue Jingli, Chairman of Consinee Group, participated in the entire visit as the only representative of the mainland textile industry in the delegation, and took an in-depth part in a series of economic and trade matching activities to actively promote the global expansion of China's high-end textile industry and deepen practical cooperation in the Central Asian market.

Leveraging Hong Kong as a Linkage Hub for Market Expansion
This visit to Central Asia focuses on enabling two-way economic and trade cooperation. Leveraging the unique advantage of Hong Kong as a "super connector", the visit builds a cooperation bridge connecting the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and the Central Asian market, and assists domestic enterprises in exploring the blue-ocean market in Central Asia. The delegation covers multiple sectors including finance, scientific and technological innovation, high-end manufacturing and commerce, and has facilitated the signing of a number of inter-sectoral memorandums of cooperation through intensive activities such as high-level meetings, economic and trade round table forums and visits to key institutions, laying a solid foundation for cross-border cooperation across various sectors.

In-depth Matching for Mutual Benefits and Win-win Outcomes
During the visit, Chairman Xue participated in in-depth core economic and trade exchanges and delivered speeches at a number of key events including the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the banking and enterprise round table hosted by Halyk Bank, and the banquet hosted by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, actively contributing to the cross-border coordinated development of Hong Kong enterprises. As a leading fully foreign-invested high-end textile enterprise rooted in Ningbo and supported by Hong Kong, Consinee is the only intelligent textile manufacturing enterprise from China admitted to the World Luxury Association. The company holds multiple national-level intelligent manufacturing qualifications, accounts for more than 25% of the global share of high-end cashmere raw materials, and has formed a unique development model characterized by "Hong Kong capital, Chinese manufacturing, raw materials from the Belt and Road region, and global high-end markets". Kazakhstan boasts abundant animal husbandry resources and huge potential for industrial cooperation. The joint "going global" initiative enables complementary resources, shared opportunities, strong alliances, capability upgrading, platform co-construction and global layout. We should strengthen enabling support in terms of financing, compliance, information and talent. We hope that all stakeholders will continue to pay attention to the textile industry, to facilitate the establishment and growth of world-class luxury and fashion brands originating from China. In the future, Consinee will continue to deepen its layout in the Central Asian market, solidify cross-border industrial cooperation, and assist China's high-end textile brands to enter the global market.

Leveraging Resources to Achieve Initial Outcomes
The Central Asian region along the Belt and Road route is a strategic blue ocean for Chinese enterprises to deploy westward, circumvent trade barriers, improve global supply chains, and increase market share in Asia, Europe and the Americas. By participating in this visit with the Chief Executive's high-level delegation, Consinee has built efficient connections with high-quality resources in Central Asia relying on the high-end official matching platform established by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, which has greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of cross-border matching. At present, Consinee has reached preliminary cooperation intentions with a number of Kazakh enterprises, and will continue to promote the implementation of substantive cooperation in the subsequent stage.

After concluding the itinerary in Kazakhstan, Chairman Xue will continue the visit with the delegation to Uzbekistan. In the future, Consinee will focus on its core high-end textile business, rely on the industrial advantages of the Chinese mainland and leverage Hong Kong's internationalized platform to deploy the Central Asian market and solidify industrial cooperation. By grasping the cooperation opportunities brought by the Belt and Road Initiative, the company will promote the international and global development of China's high-end textile industry.
